Bulgarian government claims ‘progress’ in Roma integration strategy
Bulgaria’s cabinet has approved a report that sees “progress” in some areas of the country’s plan for Roma integration. The report, officially an administrative monitoring report on the 2014 implementation of the National Roma Integration Strategy of the Republic of Bulgaria (2012-2020), comes against a background of a number of incidents over the years that have exposed tensions regarding Bulgaria’s Roma population.
